I’m a lifelong athlete, competitor, and certified coach, living with Type 1 Diabetes, who blends hard-won experience with scientific insight to help you unlock your full potential. Growing up in an active Albuquerque family, I was always on the move—skiing, swimming, basketball, soccer, and track laid the foundation for my athletic journey. A pivotal moment came when my younger sister, a collegiate runner at Texas Tech, introduced me to the world of competitive running, guiding my transition from team sports to endurance athletics, especially when I realized it was possible to reach goals and defy the odds while managing my Type 1 (diabetes).
